Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant management preferred
  • Prior leadership role experience required
  • Availability to work various shifts including weekends
  • Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
  • Capability to lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Must comply with state-mandated age requirements for alcohol-serving roles
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as bending, reaching, and using hands
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Willingness to adhere to company safety and sanitation protocols

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work while appraising performance and managing disciplinary actions
  • Shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members for job success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and implement corporate programs
  • Assist team members with job duties as needed
  • Promote sales-building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues to ensure 100 percent guest satisfaction
  • Maintain efficient operations with cost controls and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety codes, and company policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors and maintain cleanliness standards
  • Control cash, inventory, food, and labor costs
  • Manage P&L including food cost, labor cost, and carryout expenses
  • Oversee proper use of restaurant equipment and facility maintenance
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
