Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a high school diploma
  • Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility including bending and stooping for the duration of the workday
  • Ability to lift or carry 20 pounds
  • Ability to effectively manage time to meet essential functions
  • Clear and articulate communication skills
  • Ability to interact professionally and appropriately with team members and guests
  • Must be able to work days, nights and weekends
  • Ability to become certified in food safety/handling and CPR certified
  • Ability to perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Ability to maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven leadership experience in restaurant management or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and labor laws
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to train and develop team members
  • Experience with budgeting and cost control
  • Skills in handling guest complaints and maintaining high customer service standards
  • Ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, and weekends
  • Familiarity with inventory management and purchasing processes
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills

Job Duties

  • Directs the daily operation of the restaurant within budget
  • Ensures the restaurant is compliant with established standards in guest relations, food costs, labor costs, controllable costs, safety and sanitation
  • Guarantees production of consistently high-quality products by adhering to standards for ordering, food handling, storage, preparation, portioning and serving products
  • Guarantees highest level of hospitality and service to all guests at all times
  • Trains all team members to adhere to company guest hospitality standards
  • Handles guest complaints to resolution
  • Supervises restaurant and delivery operations, personnel and procedures to ensure maximum gross profit
  • Adheres to and enforces uniform and personal hygiene standards
  • Develops daily production, preparation and inventory levels
  • Oversees purchasing and ordering of food and beverages within guidelines
  • Recruits, interviews, hires and trains hourly team members
  • Conducts performance reviews and recommends pay increases
  • Administers discipline and termination decisions for hourly personnel
  • Maintains personnel, administrative and financial records
  • Ensures marketing plans are presented according to procedures
  • Ensures compliance with safety, sanitation and legal regulations
  • Trains and develops managers and management trainees
  • Identifies candidates for management program and recommends their development
  • Controls restaurant monies and security procedures
  • Develops financial performance objectives
  • Assists in daily operations when necessary
  • Maintains cleanliness and appearance of restaurant and grounds
