Job Description

This job opening is for a General Manager position at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, distinct and separate from McDonald's USA. Although the franchisee holds a license to use McDonald's logos and food products, employment matters such as hiring, firing, staffing, discipline, supervision, and scheduling are solely managed by the franchisee. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Previous experience managing high volume restaurants preferred
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours
  • Willingness to comply with company policies and standards
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

Job Qualifications

  • Previous general manager experience running high volume locations
  • Experience in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to set goals and manage teams effectively
  • Experience in coaching and developing managers
  • Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and financial management
  • Minimum age of 18

Job Duties

  • Run a profitable restaurant adhering to McDonald's quality, service, and cleanliness standards
  • Set restaurant goals in collaboration with leadership and create plans to achieve them
  • Lead and develop Department Managers by helping set their goals, monitoring progress, and providing coaching and direction
  • Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team
  • Monitor daily restaurant operations to ensure compliance with company policies and customer satisfaction
  • Manage staffing levels and scheduling to meet operational needs
  • Oversee training programs to ensure team members are skilled and engaged
