Job Requirements
- Stand for entire shift and walk long periods without rest
- Lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Reach with hands and use fingers to handle tools and controls
- Bend and stoop regularly
- Taste and smell food items
- Verbally communicate effectively
- Use close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception
- Access all restaurant areas including selling floor, stock, and register
- Adhere to state age requirements for alcohol service
- Comply with CDC, local and state safety and sanitation guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior leadership experience required
- 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
- College or culinary education preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong planning and organizational abilities
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Role model in employee appearance and presentation
- Available to work varied shifts and weekends
Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations and staff
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- Appraise performance and administer rewards and discipline including termination
- Mentor team members and promote exceptional guest service
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and local health and safety codes
- Control food and labor costs and manage inventory
- Maintain facility and equipment and enforce company policies
