Job Requirements

  • Stand for entire shift and walk long periods without rest
  • Lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Reach with hands and use fingers to handle tools and controls
  • Bend and stoop regularly
  • Taste and smell food items
  • Verbally communicate effectively
  • Use close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception
  • Access all restaurant areas including selling floor, stock, and register
  • Adhere to state age requirements for alcohol service
  • Comply with CDC, local and state safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • College or culinary education preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Role model in employee appearance and presentation
  • Available to work varied shifts and weekends

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations and staff
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Appraise performance and administer rewards and discipline including termination
  • Mentor team members and promote exceptional guest service
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and local health and safety codes
  • Control food and labor costs and manage inventory
  • Maintain facility and equipment and enforce company policies
