Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior leadership experience required
- Four to six years of restaurant experience preferred
- Ability to work varied shifts and weekends
- Strong communication skills
- Physical ability to stand for entire shifts and walk long periods
- Ability to lift, push, carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and use hands effectively
- Ability to communicate verbally
- Ability to see clearly with color and peripheral vision
- Must comply with local alcohol service age regulations if applicable
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior leadership experience in restaurant management
- Four to six years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurants preferred
- College or culinary school education preferred

Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- Plan, assign, and direct work
- Appraise performance and reward or discipline employees including termination
- Address complaints and resolve problems
- Shape the restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
- Coach and mentor team members to ensure job success and guest satisfaction
- Model professional behavior to create a warm, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere
- Communicate sales performance and anticipated variances to management team
- Cascade corporate programs and initiatives to staff
- Assist team members with job duties as needed
- Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
- Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- Greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company safety policies
- Enforce safe work behaviors
- Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
- Control day-to-day operations including cash controls, inventory, and scheduling
- Manage P&L including food, labor, and carryout costs
- Control food costs via recipe adherence and portion control
- Manage labor costs by optimizing schedules
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment and facility
- Perform additional duties as assigned
