Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a leadership role
  • 4-6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends
  • Compliance with state age requirements for alcohol service if applicable
  • Physically able to stand for entire shifts and walk for long periods
  • Ability to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to use hands for handling objects and controls
  • Ability to bend and stoop
  • Ability to taste and smell
  • Ability to verbally communicate effectively
  • Good vision including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception
  • Ability to freely access all restaurant areas
  • Willingness to comply with updated safety and sanitation procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • 4-6 years in family, fast-food, or casual dining preferred
  • College or culinary schooling preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities
  • Strong planning and organization skills
  • Dedication to exceptional guest service
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities

  • Basic business math and accounting skills

  • Available to work various shifts and weekends

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work while appraising performance
  • Reward and discipline employees including termination
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members for job success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior and create a warm, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and cascade corporate programs to staff
  • Assist team members with category job duties as needed
  • Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests, investigate and resolve food quality/service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensure OSHA, health and safety code compliance
  • Enforce safe work behaviors to maintain a safe environment
  • Monitor quality food and cleanliness standards
  • Control cash, inventory, food and labor costs
  • Manage equipment use and maintain facility assets
  • Perform all other assigned duties
