Job Requirements
- Work a flexible, full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be available to close the store at least once per week
- Attend corporate business meetings and conferences, including overnight stays and travel
- Maintain valid identification for airline travel
- Ability to frequently use computers and telephonic devices
- Continuous mobility and physical activity including bending, pushing, reaching, twisting, and lifting up to 25 lbs
- Full-time employment status
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- 3-5+ years of fast-paced retail management or relevant work experience
- Experience in financial management including sales driving, payroll and expense control
- Proven retail management skills including inventory monitoring, operational excellence, and merchandising execution
- Leadership experience in talent acquisition, development, motivating teams, and managing change
- Proficient with technology such as Point of Sale systems, Microsoft Office, and Apple devices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to change, and exercise good judgment
Job Duties
- Promote a culture of accountability to meet or exceed Ulta Beauty’s goals related to sales, guest loyalty, payroll, and retail shrink
- Drive company profitability through operational excellence, sales growth, and expense control
- Leverage store forecast and payroll budgets to optimize scheduling and productivity
- Address financial and operational issues identified in reporting, audits, and store visits
- Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests
- Stay informed on industry trends and product knowledge to better serve guests
- Maintain regular attendance and enforce attendance policies among store associates
