Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience required
  • minimum 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining
  • ability to work varied shifts and weekends
  • basic computer skills
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to handle conflict
  • capable of managing multiple projects
  • physical ability to stand for entire shift and walk long periods
  • able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • able to bend, stoop, reach, and use hands for handling objects
  • must comply with OSHA and health and safety regulations
  • legal age requirements for alcohol service where applicable

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations and staff according to company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise performance, reward, discipline, and terminate employees as needed
  • address complaints and resolve problems promptly
  • shape restaurant culture to ensure high employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure their success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior and create a warm, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and anticipated variances to the management team
  • cascade corporate programs and initiatives to staff
  • assist team members with job duties as needed
  • champion sales-building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality and service issues
  • maintain efficient operations, cost control, and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor quality and cleanliness standards daily
  • control cash, inventory, food, and labor costs
  • review financial reports and schedules and take appropriate action
  • manage food cost by following recipes and portion control and oversee weekly inventory
  • optimize labor costs through effective scheduling and monitoring
  • ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment and company assets
  • perform all other duties as assigned
