Job Requirements
- must have 2 to 5 years of experience in hotel management
- must possess good vision
- must be able to work extended hours, nights and weekends
- must be flexible in work hours and days
- must be able to sit or stand for long periods
- may be required to do light lifting or carrying
- must respond to multiple task interruptions professionally
- must be capable of working in a fast paced and stressful environment
- must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications
- must obtain any locally required certifications
- must possess a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
Job Qualifications
- marriott experience required
- 2 to 5 years as hotel general manager or other hotel management role
- effective oral and written communication skills
- good analytical skills and decision-making ability
- knowledge of computer software applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
- knowledge of Fosse PMS systems
- ability to work independently and multitask
- valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
Job Duties
- manage daily hotel operations to achieve revenue and profit goals
- provide leadership, training, direction and support to hotel employees
- maintain high standards of guest satisfaction
- ensure quality assurance and asset protection
- respond personally to guest complaints and resolve issues
- collaborate with the Revenue Management Department on market analysis and forecasting
- control costs by managing labor, expenses and utilities according to business forecasts
