Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Manager in a lifestyle or full-service hotel
  • Experience working in boutique or experiential hotel environments
  • Strong commercial and operational leadership skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with ownership and stakeholders
  • Leadership skills to inspire and develop team members
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and brand requirements
  • Ability to implement strategic initiatives and operational discipline
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to analyze market and guest data for decision-making

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of successful General Manager experience in a full-service or lifestyle hotel
  • Experience in lifestyle hotels such as boutique, experiential, or design-forward environments
  • IHG or Kimpton experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to balance commercial acumen with operational discipline
  • Strong ownership-relations experience with a track record of delivering results
  • A visible, charismatic leader who connects naturally with guests, team members, and the community
  • Passion for food & beverage, experiential programming, and placemaking
  • Data-driven mindset paired with creativity and bold decision-making

Job Duties

  • Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the hotel
  • Drive top-line revenue growth through commercial strategy and market positioning
  • Oversee all hotel operations including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing, Finance, and People & Culture
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with ownership
  • Champion a service culture reflecting Kimpton's personality - bold, human, inclusive, and guest-obsessed
  • Unite the local community by creating experiences, partnerships, and programming making the hotel a neighborhood gathering place
  • Lead and develop a high-performing executive team and staff
  • Ensure operational discipline, brand standards, and financial accountability
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and guest insights to keep the hotel relevant and ahead of the curve
