Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 4 years of restaurant leadership experience
  • ability to lead and develop a team
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of restaurant operations and financial management
  • ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends
  • ability to meet physical demands including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • compliance with state alcohol serving age requirements where applicable

Job Qualifications

  • prior experience in a leadership role
  • 4-6 years of family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant experience preferred
  • college or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in compliance with company policies and laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work while appraising performance
  • foster a positive restaurant culture and engage employees
  • coach and mentor team members for job success and guest satisfaction
  • communicate sales performance and corporate initiatives to the management team
  • assist team members with duties as necessary
  • lead sales-building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests resolving food quality or service issues
  • maintain cost controls and restaurant profitability
  • ensure OSHA and health code compliance
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control inventory, scheduling, and financial reports
  • manage food and labor costs following company standards
  • maintain restaurant equipment and facilities
  • perform all other assigned duties
