Job Requirements
- high school degree or equivalent
- minimum 3-5 years of management experience including profit and loss management
- availability to work up to 45-50 hours per week including evenings and weekends
- ability to drive and manage workplace change
- strong profit and loss management abilities
- proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and point of sale software
- comfortable working in front of house and back of house roles within the resort
- valid driver’s license
- current insurance with comprehensive and collision coverage
- vehicle available for transporting pets during emergencies
- restaurant management, retail management, veterinary management, or hospitality experience preferred
- bilingual skills a plus

Job Duties
- understands and communicates the companys mission, values, and objectives
- provides direction, leadership, and communication for all aspects of the site including financial management, customer service, pet care and team management
- develops and implements a comprehensive sales strategy including proactive lead management and conversion tactics
- creates a plan to drive and achieve resort quantitative objectives including sales revenue, labor, cost of goods sold and expense management
- communicates concerns and needs to the Market Leader and/or the Regional Leader
- responsible for maintaining operational excellence within their resort
- responds to directives accurately and promptly ensuring compliance from the resort team
- recognizes and rewards outstanding performance of resort team members
- demonstrates exceptional leadership behaviors
- creates a data-driven resort plan supporting execution of regional and company initiatives to achieve operational excellence and strong business results
- analyzes financial data and KPIs to optimize performance and identify growth opportunities
- develops Resort Leads understanding of financial reports enabling informed decision-making
- executes corporate and local marketing plans for lead generation
- engages with the community educating on the companys value proposition and offerings
- cultivates relationships with local businesses and community groups to generate leads
- leverages digital marketing for lead capture and nurtures leads effectively
- tracks and analyzes lead generation efforts to optimize strategies and improve conversion rates
- manages selection, development, and performance of site team including subordinate managers
- manages onboarding and training programs for new Team Members and Shift Leads
- ensures Resort Manager and Shift Leads empower team members
- coaches and counsels team members and Resort Leads
- recruits and maintains a pipeline of qualified team members
- fosters a positive team culture and engagement
- strives for ultimate customer service experience and maintains service metrics
- ensures adequate shift coverage and adherence to scheduling guidelines
- oversees recruiting, hiring, and training to ensure quality staff
- trains management team to resolve service issues and ensures customer satisfaction
- motivates team members to engage customers with products and sales opportunities
- educates and engages community and customers on products and services
- adheres to and applies all company policies and procedures
- follows all OSHA, cash handling, and operational procedures
- maintains standards of maintenance, cleanliness, and inventory
- leads multiple shifts as Manager on Duty demonstrating expectations and inspecting results
- determines business demands and staffing decisions
- communicates effectively for shift and overall operations
- ensures team mastery of resort tasks and standards
- executes daily audits and enforces checklists and reporting
- owns action plan for hot spot management and drives resort level actions
