Job Requirements

  • Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • leadership experience in fast-paced retail, food service or fuel environment preferred
  • experience selecting, training and managing staff
  • experience with labor allocation, sales building, scheduling, and managing expenses
  • experience coaching and developing team members through proper leadership skills
  • must be able to perform physical activities such as standing, walking, handling, reaching horizontally, above shoulder and below waist, grasping firmly, pushing buttons, bending, crouching, kneeling, squatting, stooping repeatedly throughout shift
  • must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • leadership experience in retail, food service, or fuel environments
  • experience selecting, training, and managing staff
  • expertise in labor allocation, sales building, scheduling, and managing expenses
  • strong coaching and leadership skills
  • ability to handle physical demands of the role
  • valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Job Duties

  • Maximize store profitability through managing all controllable expenses and optimizing revenue streams
  • direct supervision and development of a high performing team
  • ensure guest and associate satisfaction by exceeding brand standards
  • cultivate a positive shopping experience and address guest feedback
  • manage staffing to meet 24/7 business demands
  • allocate resources and schedule labor efficiently
  • conduct management training and monitor associate proficiency and safety
  • create and sustain an inclusive and respectful store atmosphere
  • recognize and celebrate associate contributions
  • support talent management processes including performance appraisals and development plans
  • provide feedback, coaching, and corrective actions
  • maintain store safety and operational standards
  • report and document incidents complying with laws and policies
  • lead change initiatives and ensure program execution
  • meet or exceed key performance metric targets
  • monitor cash handling and inventory
  • analyze financial reports and manage store profitability
  • conduct competition surveys and address audit findings
  • build community partnerships
  • perform other duties as assigned
