Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum three years' managerial experience in a restaurant setting
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple tasks and lead a team effectively
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • physical ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • capacity to lift up to 50 pounds as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Three years management experience in the restaurant industry
  • strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
  • ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
  • ability to exhibit a professional image
  • ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to six hours and lift 10 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
  • stamina to work a minimum of 50 hours a week

Job Duties

  • Ensures prompt, friendly service according to company guidelines
  • directs overall activities and performance of hourly staff
  • handles verbal and written guest complaints immediately
  • monitors and maintains adequate food and beverage inventories
  • teaches and enforces alcohol awareness
  • assures compliance with local, state, and federal laws, regulations and guidelines
  • ensures timely product preparation and presentation meets company standards
  • ensures maintenance of restaurant cleanliness and sanitation
  • completes daily reports and documents on time
  • schedules staffing ensuring sales volume and service levels
  • ensures adherence to all cash handling procedures
  • directs hiring, training, motivation, evaluation, promotions, and discipline of restaurant personnel
  • maintains effective safety and security programs
  • communicates effectively with other management staff
  • keeps abreast with all relevant computer applications and completes all other assigned duties
