Job Requirements

  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods
  • May be required to do light lifting
  • Able to work in fast paced and stressful environments
  • Respond to multiple task interruptions professionally
  • Flexible work hours including nights and weekends
  • Requires good vision
  • Must possess valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
  • Must have knowledge of computer software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
  • Must have full knowledge of Fosse PMS systems
  • Must be able to train front desk staff on selling techniques
  • Salary $75,000 per year

Job Qualifications

  • 2 - 5 years as hotel general manager or other hotel management role
  • Experience with Marriott brand hotels
  • Knowledge of Fosse PMS systems
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Good analytical and decision-making ability
  • Ability to work independently and multitask
  • Obtain locally required certifications

Job Duties

  • Manage daily hotel operations to achieve revenue and profit goals
  • Provide leadership, training, direction and support to hotel employees
  • Maintain high quality product and guest satisfaction standards
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial performance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Resolve guest complaints and handle difficult situations personally
  • Recruit, train and manage staff to achieve operational goals
