Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with guests and team members
  • Knowledge of applicable health and safety regulations
  • Capacity to handle high-pressure situations calmly
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold company policies

  • Previous restaurant management experience
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial reports

  • Proficient in inventory management and ordering processes

Job Duties

  • Develop and maintain professional functional working relationships with IHOP restaurant hourly team members, Corporate and Regional Team Members, and guests
  • Implement IHOP 101 Training program for all restaurant hourly Team Members
  • Execute annual financial, local restaurant marketing, guest service, and human resource objectives, strategies and tactics for assigned unit
  • Manage the restaurant floor and maintain frequency of guest complaints within acceptable limits
  • Comply with federal, state and local regulations applicable to assigned unit
  • Recruit, train and retain Team Members and maintain turnover within acceptable limits
  • Ensure food compliance with SOP in specifications, recipes, plating and garnishes
  • Manage inventory and order supplies to meet pars
  • Maintain operational condition of equipment, building structure, and premises
  • Ensure safety and sanitation practices are maintained and food properly stored
  • Develop and maintain a safety program incorporating safety committee and meetings
  • Maintain a safe and secure restaurant environment
  • Implement national and local marketing promotions with correct POP materials
  • Complete all required reports and paperwork
  • Perform other duties as assigned
