Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of leadership experience in retail hospitality or foodservice
  • foodservice safety training certificate or obtain within 30 days
  • flexibility to work varying shifts including early mornings evenings weekends and holidays
  • basic proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
  • ability to manage financial and operational responsibilities
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • post-secondary education is a plus
  • 1-3 years of leadership experience managing teams business operations and guest experience in retail hospitality or foodservice
  • demonstrated success in hiring developing teams creating superior service environment and achieving financial objectives
  • experience in productivity goals inventory par levels team schedules and cost management
  • foodservice safety training certificate or required to obtain within 30 days
  • basic proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook

Job Duties

  • Facilitates the opening and closing of the bakery including cash-drawer balancing and bank deposits
  • manages special orders from individual guests and corporate accounts including complex orders and deliveries
  • works closely with operations to meet sales productivity goals cake production plans and team schedules
  • manages inventory par levels monitors stock processes weekly supply orders and conducts monthly inventory
  • ensures product service environment and visual merchandising standards are upheld adhering to food and health safety standards and company policies
  • responsible for store P&L delivering key metrics results including labor margins controllable expenses COGS maintenance and supplies
  • performs administrative functions payroll processing sales labor and product inventory reporting and basic accounting procedures
  • recruits selects and trains talent ensuring clear communication of expectations and proper execution of responsibilities
  • provides ongoing coaching follows up to develop team manages performance delivers feedback and conducts reviews
  • delegates responsibilities to assistant manager supports leadership and builds team capabilities
  • maintains hands-on knowledge of bakery roles steps in to perform tasks as needed
  • leads community outreach coordinates event participation with local organizations
