Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- prior experience as General Manager, Operations Manager, or Assistant General Manager
- proficiency with brand’s PMS and Point of Sales systems
- proficient in Microsoft 365 or similar business applications
- ability to lead and train staff
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to manage financial and operational plans
- willingness to work hands-on and lead by example
- pre-employment background check required
Job Qualifications
- Prior General Manager, Operations Manager or Assistant General Manager experience
- experience with brand's PMS and Point of Sales systems
- proficient in Microsoft 365 or similar computer applications
- minimum high school diploma, GED or equivalent
- bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major preferred
Job Duties
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and assignments of the hotel staff
- assist the Regional Director of Operations in the development and communication of departmental strategies and goals
- communicate and enforce policies and procedures
- recommend and/or initiate salary, disciplinary, or other staffing/human resources-related actions in accordance with company rules and policies
- ensure all staff is properly trained and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their job functions
- assist Regional Director of Operations in the development, implementation and monitoring of financial and operational plans for the hotel which support the overall objectives of the company
- provide regular direction and oversee hotel operations including front office, revenue, and reservation functions to ensure superior guest services and achievement of goals
- oversee food and beverage departments to maintain standards and achieve profit and revenue goals
- manage housekeeping and maintenance functions to ensure quality, cleanliness, and maintenance
- supervise security functions to ensure a safe environment
- oversee sales functions to meet financial objectives
- maintain a proactive human resources function ensuring positive employee relations, training and development, compliance with policies and labor regulations
- implement and maintain accounting and purchasing controls and procedures
- develop, manage, and foster positive owner relationships
- use company-wide tools, systems and applications
- make recommendations for capital improvements
- maintain and uphold standards of brand and Raines Co.
