Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience
  • 4-6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • ability to work a variety of shifts and weekends
  • compliance with state alcohol serving age requirements for applicable positions
  • ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • ability to bend, stoop, reach, and use hands effectively
  • ability to taste and smell
  • ability to communicate verbally
  • ability to use close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and adjust focus
  • ability to access all restaurant areas including selling floor, stock, and register areas

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in compliance with company policies and laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise performance and provide rewards or discipline as necessary
  • shape restaurant culture and promote employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members
  • model professional behavior creating a welcoming atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and cascade corporate initiatives
  • assist team members with duties as needed
  • champion sales building and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover and sales per guest
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
  • maintain efficient operations and cost controls
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, and company policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control cash, inventory, food and labor costs
  • manage P&L including food and labor costs
  • coordinate weekly scheduling and monitor daily schedules
  • maintain restaurant equipment and facility
  • perform additional duties as assigned
