Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, business management or equivalent preferred
  • Two or more years of sales experience in retail operations
  • At least three years in a management position
  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check
  • Ability to manage employees during normal business hours in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible working hours based on business needs and 10+ hour shifts
  • Strong people and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
  • Ability to lift or move moderate weight up to 25 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience with retail sales
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Leadership ability with at least five years of experience in a retail or customer-facing sales setting
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to manage employees in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong presentation and communication abilities, both written and verbal
  • Flexible working hours including ability to work 10+ hour shifts
  • Positive, problem-solving attitude

Job Duties

  • Ensure each patient receives outstanding guest service by greeting and acknowledging every guest
  • Analyze and measure sales trends and develop plans to maximize sales and meet goals
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate all departmental employees for compliance with SOPs
  • Engage and inspire store teams to achieve maximum performance by fostering energy, ownership, teamwork, and commitment
  • Ensure compliance with the Medical Use of Marijuana Program and HIPAA regulations including confidentiality and patient record keeping
  • Conduct regular management and staff meetings, monthly one-on-one meetings, store walk-throughs, and audits
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reviews with improvement plans
  • Ensure proper management of inventory and movement between vault and dispensing stations
  • Partner with Human Resources on salaries, appraisals, and disciplinary actions
  • Maintain a clean and organized dispensary environment
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work culture
  • Oversee cash management including transactions, deposits, reporting, and reconciliation
  • Collaborate with managers in delivery, cultivation, and security departments
  • Stay informed on state and local laws, regulations, and industry news
  • Evaluate performance issues and actively recruit candidates
  • Provide leadership for problem resolution to promote improvements and working relations
