Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience required
  • minimum 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurants
  • knowledge of all applicable laws and company policies
  • ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • strong communication skills
  • proficiency with computer and business software
  • commitment to workplace safety and compliance
  • availability to work flexible schedules including weekends
  • ability to stand for long periods and handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • reward and discipline employees including termination
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members to deliver guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and variances to management team
  • cascade corporate initiatives to staff
  • assist team with category job duties as needed
  • champion sales-building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover and sales per guest and hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
  • maintain efficient operations and cost controls
  • ensure compliance with OSHA and safety policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness
  • control day-to-day operations including cash control, inventory, food and labor management
  • manage P&L including food and labor costs
  • follow recipes and portion control
  • conduct weekly inventory
  • optimize labor schedules
  • ensure proper use of equipment
  • maintain facility and company assets
  • perform all other assigned duties
