Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations in line with company policies and applicable laws
- recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- plan, assign, and direct work
- appraise performance and discipline employees including termination
- address complaints and resolve problems
- foster a positive culture and high employee engagement
- coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
- model professional behavior to create a warm and hospitable atmosphere
- communicate sales performance and implement corporate programs
- assist team members with duties as needed
- champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
- maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- meet and greet guests and resolve food quality and service issues
- maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
- ensure compliance with OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety policies
- enforce safe work behaviors
- monitor quality food and cleanliness standards
- control day-to-day operations including cash control, inventory, food and labor management, financial reporting, and scheduling
- manage P&L including food, labor, carryout costs, and other controllable items
- control food costs via recipes and portion control
- manage labor costs by optimizing employee schedules
- ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
- maintain facility and company assets
- perform other duties as assigned
