Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in line with company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise performance and discipline employees including termination
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • foster a positive culture and high employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior to create a warm and hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and implement corporate programs
  • assist team members with duties as needed
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality and service issues
  • maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor quality food and cleanliness standards
  • control day-to-day operations including cash control, inventory, food and labor management, financial reporting, and scheduling
  • manage P&L including food, labor, carryout costs, and other controllable items
  • control food costs via recipes and portion control
  • manage labor costs by optimizing employee schedules
  • ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
  • maintain facility and company assets
  • perform other duties as assigned
