Job Description

This job opportunity is with an independently owned and operated restaurant franchise licensed to use McDonald's branding, food products, and service standards. Although the restaurant proudly carries the McDonald's name, it is important to understand that the franchisee operates as a distinct company entirely separate from McDonald's USA. Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older to work in management
  • must be a legal U.S. citizen
  • must have a California Manager Food Handler Card
  • one or more years experience leading, motivating or developing others or US military service
  • commitment to excellence and safety in the workplace
  • strong customer service and support focus
  • ability to communicate effectively and anticipate customer needs
  • ability to provide solutions and make decisions in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • completion of Business Leadership Capstone or HU Certificate
  • previous General Manager experience at high volume locations
  • background in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • passion for helping and serving others

Job Duties

  • Running a profitable restaurant
  • ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness standards
  • setting restaurant goals and planning to achieve them
  • leading and coaching Department Managers
  • managing hiring and development of staff
  • monitoring departmental progress
  • providing direction to improve operations
