Job Description

This job opening is for a General Manager position at a restaurant operating under the McDonald's brand but is independently owned and operated by a franchisee, separate from McDonald's USA. This franchisee holds the license to use McDonald's logos and food products but remains a distinct company that manages its own employment matters. This means that if you are hired, your employer will be the franchisee, not McDonald's USA. Job Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Prior experience managing a high volume restaurant
  • Ability to lead and develop teams
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Availability to work flexible hours
  • Commitment to maintaining high quality and cleanliness standards

Job Qualifications

  • Previous general manager experience running high volume locations
  • Experience in quick service restaurants preferred
  • Experience in hospitality or retail considered an asset
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • At least 18 years of age

Job Duties

  • Run a profitable restaurant while ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness standards are met
  • Work collaboratively with leaders to set restaurant goals and develop plans to achieve them
  • Lead and manage a team of Department Managers including setting goals, monitoring progress, and coaching
  • Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and operational excellence
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations and resolve operational issues
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages team engagement and growth
