Job Requirements

  • Five years supervisor or manager experience, preferably in a fitness, hospitality, or retail environment in a high volume atmosphere
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required, 2 or 4 year degree or four years supervisory experience preferred
  • CPR/AED certification
  • Hard working, goal oriented, enthusiastic, and energetic
  • Solid work ethic with strong decision making skills
  • Self-starter who takes initiative with minimal direction and supervision
  • Basic computer, math, and communication skills required
  • Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry
  • Solid supervisory, diplomacy and listening skills
  • Detail and results oriented with high degree of professionalism and organizational skills
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, time management and analytical skills
  • Strong time management skills, ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within teams
  • Possess a working knowledge of all purchasing, sales web based programming and fitness software utilized by Club4Fitness
  • Must be computer proficient and well versed in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong track record of successfully executing directives and meeting key strategic initiatives
  • Ability to travel to other clubs as needed

Job Duties

  • Recruit, lead, manage, communicate, train, and develop staff including Assistant Managers and MODs, front desk employees, childcare directors and associates, lifeguards, tennis professionals, and club attendants
  • Make sales calls to prospective members and manage overall sales performance
  • Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure compliance with customer service guidelines
  • Support staff growth and skills development
  • Address issues involving employees and members promptly and respectfully
  • Promote superior customer experience and actively market Club4Fitness within local communities
  • Manage daily deposits, monitor compliance with policies and standards, oversee payroll and scheduling, maintain inventory, ensure cleanliness and inspection readiness, complete paperwork accurately, maintain confidentiality, and provide regular staff feedback
  • Adhere to company policies and undertake additional duties as assigned by Regional Manager or Managing Partner
