Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior leadership experience required
- Minimum 4-6 years of restaurant experience preferred
- Ability to stand for entire shifts
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and use hands for handling
- Ability to taste, smell, and verbally communicate clearly
- Ability to use close, distance, color, peripheral vision and depth perception
- Available to work varied shifts including weekends
- Compliance with state age requirements for alcohol serving if applicable
Job Qualifications

- Prior experience in a leadership role
- Minimum 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
- College or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- Plan, assign, and direct work
- Appraise performance, reward, and discipline employees including termination
- Address complaints and resolve problems
- Shape restaurant culture and promote employee engagement
- Coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
- Model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
- Communicate sales performance and anticipated variances
- Cascade corporate programs and initiatives
- Assist team members with duties as needed
- Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
- Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- Meet and greet guests, investigate and resolve food quality/service issues
- Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
- Ensure OSHA and safety code compliance and enforce safe work behaviors
- Monitor quality food and cleanliness standards
- Control day-to-day operations including cash control, inventory, food and labor management
- Manage P&L including food, labor, carryout and other controllable costs
- Follow recipes and portion control
- Manage labor costs through scheduling and monitoring sales performance
- Ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
- Maintain facilities and company assets
- Perform other duties as assigned
