Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant management preferred
  • Prior experience in a leadership role required
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts and weekends
  • Ability to stand and walk long periods during shift
  • Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Knowledge of OSHA, health and safety codes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Ability to manage multiple projects

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise performance and reward or discipline employees as necessary, including termination
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior creating a warm and hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and anticipated variances
  • Cascade corporate programs and initiatives to staff
  • Occasionally assist team members with job duties
  • Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations with appropriate cost controls
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, and security policies
  • Enforce safe work practices
  • Monitor daily activities to uphold food quality and cleanliness
  • Control cash, inventory, food and labor costs
  • Review financial reports and schedules
  • Manage P&L, food cost, labor cost, and other controllable items
  • Control food costs through recipe and portion control
  • Optimize employee schedules and monitor sales performance
  • Ensure proper use of equipment
  • Maintain facility and all company assets
  • Perform other duties as assigned
