Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 3 years experience in bakery or retail operations management
- ability to lead and motivate a team
- strong problem-solving skills
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- basic computer proficiency including inventory and scheduling systems
- valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Prioritize the guest experience and model superior guest engagement
- recruit and select talent and ensure performance expectations are clearly communicated and proper training is provided
- engage frequently with team members to gain insight into workload and progress and address any challenges
- provide continuous coaching and follow up to develop team and manage performance including constructive feedback and quarterly reviews
- delineate role of assistant manager assigning specific responsibilities to support bakery team and operation leadership
- identify future leaders and cross-train team members to build capabilities and ensure bakery coverage
- maintain hands-on knowledge of all bakery roles and perform responsibilities as needed
- facilitate opening and closing procedures including cash drawer balancing and bank deposits
- manage special-order fulfillment for guests and corporate accounts
- create and communicate weekly sales productivity goals production plan and team schedule adjusting coverage based on trends
- set inventory par levels monitor stock and process weekly supply orders and conduct monthly inventory
- ensure product service bakery environment and merchandising standards are upheld and bakery operations adhere to food and health safety standards and policies
- manage controllable expenses including labor COGS maintenance and supplies to maximize profitability
- perform administrative functions including payroll processing sales labor and inventory reporting and basic accounting
- lead community outreach to increase brand visibility and engage in brand-aligned events
- coordinate special event participation with local businesses schools and community organizers
