Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Physical stamina to work 50-80 hours per week
  • Willing to work overtime, holidays, weekends, and days off as business dictates
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, listen, and have visual acuity including close, distance, peripheral vision and depth perception
  • Occasional ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and lift up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to use basic math, addition, subtraction, and understand basic fractions
  • Experience in managing a team in a restaurant environment is preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Proven ability to maintain operational standards and customer satisfaction

Job Duties

  • Manages a staff Assistant Managers and approximately 15-30 employees depending on location
  • Assigns, oversees, and evaluates work for compliance
  • Manage hiring, training, evaluating, discipline, and termination of employees
  • Provides on the job training and coaching for new employees
  • Delegates, and is responsible for, the ordering, receipt, storage, and issuing of all food, labor, equipment, cleaning, and paper supplies for the unit to ensure a minimum loss from waste or theft
  • Assists in the supervision, preparation, sales, and service of food
  • Forecasts food items by estimating what amount of each food item will be consumed per shift
  • Supervises food preparation and service operations while on duty
