Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable transportation
- Physical stamina to work 50-80 hours per week
- Willing to work overtime, holidays, weekends, and days off as business dictates
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, listen, and have visual acuity including close, distance, peripheral vision and depth perception
- Occasional ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and lift up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Ability to use basic math, addition, subtraction, and understand basic fractions
- Experience in managing a team in a restaurant environment is preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Proven ability to maintain operational standards and customer satisfaction
Job Duties
- Manages a staff Assistant Managers and approximately 15-30 employees depending on location
- Assigns, oversees, and evaluates work for compliance
- Manage hiring, training, evaluating, discipline, and termination of employees
- Provides on the job training and coaching for new employees
- Delegates, and is responsible for, the ordering, receipt, storage, and issuing of all food, labor, equipment, cleaning, and paper supplies for the unit to ensure a minimum loss from waste or theft
- Assists in the supervision, preparation, sales, and service of food
- Forecasts food items by estimating what amount of each food item will be consumed per shift
- Supervises food preparation and service operations while on duty
