Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of progressive hotel experience
  • 4-year degree with 4-5 years of related experience, or 2-year degree with 5-6 years of related experience
  • proficiency in Windows operating systems, spreadsheets, and word-processing software
  • valid driver’s license for the applicable state

Job Duties

  • Lead all guest and employee interactions with professionalism, warmth, and a service-oriented mindset
  • foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture aligned with company values
  • oversee all hotel operations to ensure safe, efficient, and guest-focused performance
  • tour operating departments daily and address operational opportunities with department leaders
  • ensure consistent service-standards training in all departments
  • inspect guest rooms regularly with housekeeping and engineering management
  • maintain cleanliness, maintenance, and asset protection through inspections and preventive maintenance
  • maintain visible presence in public areas during peak periods
  • partner with Director of Sales to conduct daily revenue meetings
  • engage actively in hotel sales efforts including client meetings and hosting events
  • support revenue-generation strategies and market positioning
  • meet all corporate financial review deadlines and reporting timelines
  • hold monthly financial reviews with department heads
  • ensure department productivity aligns with budget expectations
  • oversee accounting procedures including invoice processing
  • forecast monthly financial performance and analyze trends
  • assist in annual budget development and execution
  • recruit, interview, and approve candidates for all hotel positions
  • conduct performance evaluations and ensure compliance with appraisal standards
  • coach, counsel, and discipline management staff
  • develop managers for future advancement through training programs
  • maintain oversight of management trainees
  • ensure compliance with company policies and required certifications
  • participate in required Manager-on-Duty coverage
