Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 3-5 years experience in restaurant management
- experience managing diverse teams
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to stand and move for extended periods
- valid food handler's certification or willingness to obtain
- proficiency in English
- reliable transportation to Grand Rapids location

Job Duties
- Recruit, train, and supervise a diverse team of employees, including hiring, scheduling, and performance management
- foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service
- provide coaching and mentorship to team members to ensure professional growth and development
- conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, policies, and operational updates
- delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to ensure smooth workflow and efficient use of resources
- oversee day-to-day operations to maintain the restaurant's smooth functioning
- develop and enforce standard operating procedures for front-of-house, back-of-house, and customer service
- maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees and guests
- monitor inventory levels, track food costs, and implement cost-control measures
- collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food quality and timely preparation
- handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and promptly
- interact regularly with guests to build relationships and address concerns
- implement strategies to enhance the dining experience and promote repeat business
- operate point-of-sale systems efficiently
- work with finance to develop and oversee budgets and financial performance
- analyze sales trends to identify growth opportunities
- ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- conduct health and safety inspections and maintain documentation
- monitor employee attendance and policy adherence
- work with human resources and finance for employee records and invoice processing
- create and oversee weekly staff schedules
