Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 3 years experience in restaurant management or similar role
  • proven ability to meet financial goals
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • knowledge of inventory and purchasing controls
  • ability to develop and implement marketing initiatives
  • familiarity with food safety standards and health regulations
  • valid food handler permits
  • capacity to manage administrative duties accurately
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • reliable communication skills

Job Duties

  • Meets restaurant financial objectives by preparing annual forecasts and budgets
  • analyzes variances
  • initiates corrective actions
  • follows and monitors financial controls
  • develops and implements strategies to increase average meal checks
  • attracts patrons by developing and implementing local store marketing and public and community relations programs
  • evaluates program results and makes adjustments
  • identifies and tracks changing market demands
  • controls purchases and inventory by projecting sales, evaluating product usage reports, setting inventory limits, analyzing food cost variances, and taking corrective action
  • recruits, selects, and hires restaurant crew and hourly management
  • provides and directs orientation and training
  • coaches and counsels staff
  • completes performance reviews
  • manages restaurant scheduling
  • resolves customer complaints
  • oversees weekly inventory and cash counts and deposits
  • enforces company policies and procedures including safety and security
  • ensures recipe compliance and food quality
  • maintains safe and healthy environment by enforcing food safety standards and compliance
  • implements all training and brand programs
  • ensures facility and equipment maintenance
  • takes responsibility for timely and accurate administrative tasks including incident reports and health inspection responses
  • attends off-site meetings and training
