Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Reliable transportation
  • Physical stamina to work 50-80 hours per week
  • Willingness to work overtime, holidays, weekends, and days off as business dictates

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior management experience in the food service industry preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and basic fractions
  • Ability to use inventory and ordering systems

Job Duties

  • Manages a staff assistant managers and approximately 15-30 employees depending on location
  • Assigns, oversees, and evaluates work for compliance
  • Manage hiring, training, evaluating, discipline, and termination of employees
  • Provides on the job training and coaching for new employees
  • Delegates, and is responsible for, the ordering, receipt, storage, and issuing of all food, labor, equipment, cleaning, and paper supplies for the unit to ensure a minimum loss from waste or theft
  • Assists in the supervision, preparation, sales, and service of food
  • Forecasts food items by estimating what amount of each food item will be consumed per shift
  • Supervises food preparation and service operations while on duty
