Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be CPR/AED certified
  • Five years of supervisor or manager experience preferably in fitness, hospitality, or retail
  • Basic computer, math, and communication skills
  • Ability to travel to other clubs as needed
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Knowledge of fitness industry customer service standards
  • Strong time management and analytical skills
  • Ability to execute directives and meet strategic initiatives
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferably 2- or 4-year degree or four years of supervisory experience
  • Five years of supervisory or managerial experience preferably in fitness, hospitality, or retail in a high-volume environment
  • Must be CPR/AED certified
  • Strong sales background
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of purchasing, sales web-based programming, and fitness software
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong communication, diplomacy, and leadership skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Recruit, lead, manage, communicate, train, and develop all club staff including assistant managers, front desk associates, childcare associates, lifeguards, tennis professionals, and attendants
  • Make sales calls to prospective members and drive overall sales performance
  • Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure staff provide superior customer service
  • Provide support and development opportunities to staff
  • Address club and online issues involving employees and members respectfully and promptly
  • Promote a superior customer experience within the club
  • Actively promote Club4Fitness within local communities
  • Grow the business by achieving sales and profit goals and motivating staff
  • Ensure accurate and timely daily deposits
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards
  • Monitor staff performance to meet revenue goals
  • Oversee inventory, employee payroll, and scheduling
  • Maintain facility cleanliness and ensure it meets inspection standards
  • Complete monthly and weekly administrative paperwork
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information
  • Manage team communication and provide regular feedback
  • Stay updated with company policies and procedures
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by management
