Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a leadership role
  • 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • Familiarity with managing food, labor, and operational costs
  • Ability to enforce company policies and safety regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to handle multiple projects and lead a team
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Compliance with OSHA and local health guidelines
  • Ability to maintain professional conduct and serve as role model
  • Basic computer skills for operational management.

Job Qualifications

  • Prior leadership experience required
  • Minimum 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • College and/or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in compliance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise performance and administer rewards or disciplinary actions including termination
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Foster a high level of employee engagement and shape restaurant culture
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure job success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior to create a warm, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and variances to management team
  • Cascade corporate programs and initiatives to staff
  • Assist team members with job duties as needed
  • Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests, investigate and resolve food quality and service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations and cost controls
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, and safety codes
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor daily activities for food quality and cleanliness
  • Control day-to-day operations including cash control, inventory, scheduling, and financial report review
  • Manage food, labor, and operational costs
  • Follow recipes and portion control
  • Oversee weekly inventory process
  • Optimize labor schedules using company tools
  • Ensure proper use of equipment
  • Maintain facility and company assets
  • Perform other assigned duties.
