Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a General Manager in a high-rise luxury condominium or 5 years management in related industries
  • Minimum 3 years leading a team of 10 to 25 employees
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including on-call duties
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making ability
  • Skilled in resolving resident concerns respectfully
  • Project management competency
  • Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork
  • Coaching experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other software
  • Residing onsite required

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in hospitality, business, management or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years as General Manager of a high-rise luxury condominium or 5 years management in property management, hospitality, or related industries
  • Minimum of 3 years leading a team of 10 to 25 employees
  • Industry certification or designation desirable
  • Ability to write and communicate professionally in English
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Ability to resolve resident concerns with professionalism
  • Project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Teamwork and coaching abilities
  • Ability to influence and effectively convey ideas
  • Computer literacy including Microsoft Office

Job Duties

  • Lead recruitment and development of a high-performing team
  • Conduct weekly team huddles and regular one-on-one feedback sessions
  • Develop and evaluate maintenance and management standards
  • Promote a positive, professional, and client-centered work environment
  • Assist the board of directors by providing accurate information and implementing decisions
  • Manage capital improvement projects in collaboration with the Managing Agent and Board
  • Oversee contract service work ensuring quality and timeliness
  • Maintain financial management including budget adherence and monthly reporting
  • Ensure compliance with life safety equipment and elevator maintenance
  • Keep accurate records of community activities and administrative paperwork
  • Attend board and committee meetings, offer management reports and advice
  • Approve and code invoices for timely payment
  • Represent the Association professionally
  • Maintain consistent attendance and oversee team attendance
  • Respond to emergencies 24/7
  • Perform other related duties
  • Reside onsite
