Job Description

This job opportunity is with an independently owned and operated McDonald's restaurant franchise, managed by a franchisee who holds a license to use McDonald's logos and food products. Unlike positions directly with McDonald's USA, this role is employed by the franchisee itself, which has full responsibility for all employment-related matters such as hiring, firing, disciplinary actions, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. This means that while the restaurant operates under the well-known McDonald's brand, all employment decisions and operations are controlled locally by the franchisee, making the franchisee the applicant's direct employer.

Job Requirements

  • Be 18 years or older
  • previous experience managing a restaurant or similar operation
  • ability to lead and develop a team
  • strong organizational skills
  • capability to manage multiple priorities
  • knowledge of customer service standards
  • willingness to work flexible hours

Job Qualifications

  • Previous General Manager experience
  • experience running high volume locations
  • background in quick service restaurants preferred
  • experience in hospitality or retail sectors desired
  • strong leadership skills
  • excellent communication abilities
  • ability to set and achieve goals
  • proficient in managing teams

Job Duties

  • Run a profitable restaurant
  • ensure the restaurant meets quality, service, and cleanliness standards
  • set restaurant goals and create plans to achieve them
  • lead a team of Department Managers
  • coach and provide direction to Department Managers
  • hire and develop Department and Shift Managers
  • monitor and improve departmental performance
