Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a general manager or assistant manager in the food service industry
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Basic financial literacy and ability to manage budgets
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in using HRIS and payroll/timekeeping systems

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in restaurant management or similar leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and operational standards
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Previous experience in budget management, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Crisis management and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant and make necessary real-time decisions to ensure excellent guest experiences and successful operations
  • Ensure a safe and productive work environment for team members
  • Produce and develop a work environment that focuses on team members' safety and wellbeing
  • Conduct regular safety assessments and follow up on any injury investigations
  • Manage and develop all team members to meet executional and procedural standards
  • Retain and develop team members through hiring, training, mentoring, and performance reviews
  • Oversee team member timecards, schedules, and staffing needs to ensure proper coverage
  • Ensure positive guest service and address complaints to convert dissatisfied guests into fans
  • Enforce sanitary practices and compliance with laws and company policies
  • Oversee food quality, portion control, inventory ordering, and waste minimization
  • Manage financial aspects including budgets, forecasts, cost controls, and payroll accuracy
  • Collaborate with management team and Area Director to meet or exceed financial goals
