Job Requirements

  • Associate degree or higher in hospitality management business administration or related field preferred
  • minimum of 5 years managerial experience in the hotel industry
  • residency within San Juan Capistrano California required
  • ability to work flexible hours including overtime and irregular shifts
  • strong command of English both spoken and written
  • physical ability to perform job duties including standing walking and lifting up to 10 pounds
  • willingness to uphold company policies and standards
  • leadership skills with discretion and independent judgment
  • excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Experience managing full-service hotels or extended-stay properties
  • proficiency in property management systems and computer applications including word processing and spreadsheets
  • outstanding communication presentation organization time management and listening skills
  • proven ability to interact with all levels of customers and hotel management effectively
  • strong analytical skills for assessing business potential and financial metrics
  • demonstrated leadership capabilities in hiring training and managing staff
  • knowledge of health safety and regulatory compliance in the hospitality industry

Job Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of hotel operations including front desk housekeeping and food and beverage services
  • ensure guest satisfaction by addressing inquiries resolving complaints and providing personalized service
  • manage and train hotel staff fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality
  • monitor financial performance including budgeting forecasting and cost control measures
  • collaborate with marketing teams to promote the hotel and increase occupancy rates
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff
  • perform other duties as assigned
