Job Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in hospitality management business administration or related field preferred
- minimum of 5 years managerial experience in the hotel industry
- residency within San Juan Capistrano California required
- ability to work flexible hours including overtime and irregular shifts
- strong command of English both spoken and written
- physical ability to perform job duties including standing walking and lifting up to 10 pounds
- willingness to uphold company policies and standards
- leadership skills with discretion and independent judgment
- excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Job Qualifications
- Experience managing full-service hotels or extended-stay properties
- proficiency in property management systems and computer applications including word processing and spreadsheets
- outstanding communication presentation organization time management and listening skills
- proven ability to interact with all levels of customers and hotel management effectively
- strong analytical skills for assessing business potential and financial metrics
- demonstrated leadership capabilities in hiring training and managing staff
- knowledge of health safety and regulatory compliance in the hospitality industry
Job Duties
- Oversee all aspects of hotel operations including front desk housekeeping and food and beverage services
- ensure guest satisfaction by addressing inquiries resolving complaints and providing personalized service
- manage and train hotel staff fostering a positive and productive work environment
- develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality
- monitor financial performance including budgeting forecasting and cost control measures
- collaborate with marketing teams to promote the hotel and increase occupancy rates
- ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff
- perform other duties as assigned
