Job Requirements

  • 3-plus years of restaurant leadership experience
  • 2-plus years of restaurant leadership experience
  • live programming knowledge
  • strong knowledge of front and back of house operations including food, beverages, staff supervision, inventory, and food safety
  • understanding of cost and labor systems for restaurant profitability
  • proven experience in restaurant management or similar role
  • strong leadership and organizational skills
  • excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • proficiency in financial management including budgeting and cost control
  • degree in business management or substantial work experience in the restaurant industry preferred
  • ability to lift 50lbs

Job Duties

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of multi-unit operations and associated internal departments
  • Ensure successful execution of shows, events and daily activity
  • Teach and adhere to City Winery principles of quality food, wine, and service
  • Lead by example and enforce company policies and procedures consistently
  • Prevent waste and theft through effective controls
  • Establish goals and resolve problems in all business areas
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, safety and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with internal divisions to achieve company goals
  • Manage customer-related issues promptly
  • Review and manage End of Day reports capturing key performance indicators
  • Oversee financial reports and inventory management
  • Maintain facility cleanliness, safety and equipment maintenance
  • Adjust staffing levels to align with events and ticket sales
  • Lead communications on new concepts and promotions
  • Coordinate staff training for new products
  • Work with Executive Chef to ensure kitchen efficiency and menu execution
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and fire regulations
  • Assist concert management with artist and VIP coordination
  • Support event operations including floor plans and event data entry
  • Implement business initiatives and projects as assigned by senior leadership
  • Foster positive company culture and work environment
  • Oversee staff hiring, training, supervision, and performance management
  • Conduct disciplinary actions in coordination with HR
  • Lead regular staff and management meetings for clear communication
  • Ensure safe working environment and incident reporting
  • Monitor budget goals and control costs
  • Provide budgeting guidelines and monitor financial performance
  • Manage purchasing specifications and waste control
  • Oversee invoice processing
  • Analyze product cost trends and adjust accordingly
  • Train management staff on budget control
  • Ensure accurate payroll administration and personnel form completion
  • Communicate benefits and policy changes with staff
  • Support administration of all operational systems and software
  • Maintain scheduling to meet operational and financial objectives
  • Handle personnel issues in partnership with HR and COO
