Job Requirements

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent
  • Five or more years of experience in property management, hospitality, or retail
  • Track record of success building and retaining high-performing teams
  • Experience managing budgets and profit and loss
  • Proficiency with YARDI software and computer programs
  • Strong financial skills with knowledge of GAAP
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional appearance
  • Real estate license or willingness to obtain within 90 days where applicable

Job Qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience in property management, hospitality, or retail industries
  • Proven success in building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams
  • Experience managing budgets and profit and loss statements
  • Proficiency with industry software such as YARDI
  • Strong financial skills and basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional appearance
  • Real estate license or willingness to obtain within 90 days where applicable

Job Duties

  • Leading by example and being a role model for company values and culture
  • Inspiring the team to execute sales, marketing, and operational activities that meet budgeted occupancy and retention goals
  • Managing the property’s financial performance within the established budget
  • Coaching team members to understand their role in the organization’s success
  • Creating and delivering accurate financial and operational reports to clients and ownership groups
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with owners, residents, employees, and vendors
  • Monitoring competitive marketplace and coaching the team to differentiate the community and company
  • Partnering with consumer marketing to implement strategies positioning the community as a destination
  • Ensuring high guest satisfaction and outstanding customer ratings
  • Working one weekend per month and two weekdays off to accommodate prospective resident visits
  • Encouraging professional growth through knowledge sharing and training participation
  • Supporting continuous education and development opportunities
