Job Requirements
- Must be able to perform all restaurant operations positions/functions
- valid driver’s license
- standing for long periods without break
- ability to meet the requirements of subordinate positions
- physical inspections of all restaurant areas
- lifting up to 50 lbs
- moving and inspecting all supplies in the restaurant
- working in hot and cold environments
- travel to multiple stores as needed
Job Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent experience in operations
- 1-2 years management/operations experience in the restaurant industry
- knowledge of Wendy's operating systems and procedures
- knowledge of P&L analysis and corrective measures
- understanding of supervisory, training and development practices
- ability to manage multiple operational roles
- strong leadership and communication skills
Job Duties
- Meets budgeted sales targets
- sets controllable cost targets
- develops and executes local store marketing plans
- hires, trains and terminates subordinate managers
- trains store personnel to execute procedures for preparation and serving quality products
- takes service times and determines efficiency
- trains store personnel in customer courtesy
- maintains store cleanliness during shifts
- manages production labor and food cost controls
- analyzes weekly P&L
- holds weekly manager meetings
- sets store priorities with district manager
- executes store plans
- manages employee files and time cards
- trains crew and management on maintenance and equipment calibration
- uses consistent practices in managing performance problems
- conducts management performance reviews
- resolves customer complaints within 24 hours
- reports accidents promptly
