Job Requirements
- Work a flexible full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- be available to close the store at least once weekly
- attend corporate business meetings and conferences with potential overnight stays and interstate travel
- maintain valid identification for airline travel
- frequent use of computer and telephonic devices
- continuous mobility, bending, pushing, reaching, twisting, lifting up to 25 lbs
- ability to walk and manipulate objects regularly during shifts
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3-5+ years of fast-paced retail management or relevant work experience
- proven success in financial management including sales growth, payroll budgeting, and expense control
- demonstrated ability in retail management including inventory monitoring, operational excellence, and merchandising execution
- leadership experience in attracting, developing, and motivating talent, managing change, and fostering collaboration
- proficient with Point of Sale systems, Microsoft Office, and Apple devices
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- strong collaboration and interpersonal abilities
- highly organized to manage multiple tasks effectively
- adaptable and capable of exercising good judgment under pressure
Job Duties
- Promote a culture of accountability to meet or exceed sales, guest loyalty, payroll, omni-channel, and retail shrink goals
- drive company profitability through operational excellence, sales growth, and expense control
- leverage store forecast and payroll budgets to optimize scheduling and productivity
- address issues from financial and operational reporting to maintain profitability
- perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to enhance guest experience
- stay informed about industry trends, products, and services to better serve guests
- maintain regular attendance and enforce store attendance policies
- attract, hire, and retain diverse top talent and address staffing needs
- manage employee relations in compliance with policies and procedures
- build an engaged and inclusive team that embodies the company brand
- lead training, competency-based feedback, coaching, performance reviews, and development planning
- model open communication aligned with company strategy
- promote teamwork by providing clear direction and priorities
- execute the Guest Engagement Leader program to enhance guest experience
- ensure compliance with company policies and standards including dress code
- manage scheduling tools to align associates with business needs
- prioritize store workload using task management tools
- enforce store standards for safety, inventory control, cash management, and loss prevention
- execute daily inventory control processes including theft and damage reporting
- support adoption of company initiatives and technology
- communicate business trends, operational challenges, and opportunities to field leadership
