Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience
  • 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • availability to work a variety of shifts and weekends
  • ability to meet physical demands including standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, stooping, and using hands for various tasks
  • adherence to state alcohol serving age requirements if applicable
  • commitment to maintaining safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and legal regulations
  • recruit, interview, hire, train, assign work, appraise performance, and discipline employees, including terminations
  • cultivate a positive restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure job success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional and hospitable behavior to encourage excellence
  • communicate sales performance and corporate initiatives to staff
  • assist team members with job duties as needed
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues to guarantee customer satisfaction
  • maintain operational efficiency, cost control, and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • oversee cash control, inventory, food and labor management, financial reports, and scheduling
  • manage profit and loss including food, labor, and carryout costs
  • control food costs through recipe adherence and portion control
  • optimize labor costs with effective scheduling and monitoring
  • ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
  • maintain facility and company assets
  • perform other duties as assigned
