Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Progressive hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or service industry experience preferred
- Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages at select properties
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be willing to work varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient in Windows operating systems and Company approved software
- Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure
- Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Strong listening and conflict resolution skills
- Financial skills with basic arithmetic ability

Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- Use guests’ names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcome
- Work together with team members to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency
- Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
- Support all groups and events at the hotel
- Understand and use relevant role-specific technology
- Answer all incoming calls with friendly service using approved greeting
- Maintain sparkling clean workspaces both front and back of house
- Contribute to cleanliness by assisting in guest rooms and public spaces
- Greet guests by name with a smile while cleaning
- Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time every shift
- Prepare accurate and timely shift handover reports
- Wear clean approved uniform, be well-groomed, and wear nametag at all times
- Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
- Demonstrate willingness to stretch beyond traditional role to meet business needs
- Work collaboratively to create a welcoming environment for guests and positive workplace
- Conduct daily supervision walks including guest rooms and public spaces
- Ensure adherence to cleanliness standards on inspection checklists
- Onboard new team members and ensure understanding of processes
- Complete all daily summary and night audit processes according to policy
- Manage shift handover reports and daily report submissions
- Oversee compliance with brand standards and quality assurance expectations
- Enforce attire standards including proper uniform and guest greeting
- Certify fire and life safety inspections are current and deficiencies corrected
- Confirm preventative maintenance tasks are completed and visually checked
- Ensure team members adhere to established work schedules
- Promote culture of learning and safety
- Provide training and development opportunities for staff
- Deliver daily moment-to-moment coaching with candor and positivity
- Review daily time clock punches per policy
- Manage purchase order and invoice processes properly
- Maintain clean and organized inventory storage following program guidelines
