Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4-6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant leadership roles
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • ability to use hands for handling and controls
  • ability to bend, stoop, and maintain good vision including color and depth perception
  • verbal communication skills
  • ability to access all restaurant areas
  • adherence to state alcohol serving age requirements if applicable
  • willingness to work varied shifts including weekends
  • compliance with safety and sanitation procedures
  • ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • address complaints and resolve issues
  • promote and maintain a high level of employee engagement and positive restaurant culture
  • coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional, warm, and hospitable behavior
  • communicate sales performance and implement corporate programs
  • assist team members with job duties as needed
  • champion sales-building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover and sales metrics
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality and service issues
  • maintain cost controls and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health, and safety codes
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control cash, inventory, labor scheduling, and review financial reports
  • manage food, labor, and other controllable costs
  • ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment and assets
  • perform other duties as assigned
