Job Requirements
- College degree in hotel restaurant management, Accounting or finance, Business or equivalent
- proven leadership experience as a General Manager
- 3-5 years full-service hotel management experience preferably in Marriott
- extensive food and beverage experience
- hands-on leadership ability
- strong mentoring commitment
- hotel renovation experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- College degree in hotel restaurant management, Accounting or finance, Business or equivalent
- proven record as a successful leader in a General Manager role showing positive financial returns and employee engagement survey results
- 3-5 years progressive experience as a full-service general manager preferably in a Marriott
- extensive food and beverage experience
- hands-on leadership and mentoring skills
- hotel renovation experience preferred
Job Duties
- Direct the total operation of the hotel to maintain established cost and quality standards
- attain projected revenue and profit levels
- achieve guest satisfaction goals
- ensure maintenance and security of the hotel's physical assets
- develop and update the hotel business plan
- monitor financial performance
- administer company policy and procedures
- recruit, select, train, counsel and reward staff to maintain performance standards while promoting a people-first culture
- act as an active partner in the local community
