Job Description

This job opportunity is with a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee of McDonald's, one of the most recognized fast-food brands worldwide. Unlike working directly for McDonald's USA, this position involves employment with an independent McDonald's franchisee, who holds a license to use McDonald's trademarks, logos, and food products. The franchisee is an autonomous business entity, responsible for all employment matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling at the restaurant level. McDonald's USA does not engage in employment decisions for the franchisee's restaurant and will not receive or handle employment applications for this position.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Prior general manager experience in high volume fast food or quick service restaurants
  • Ability to lead and develop a team
  • Strong organizational and operational skills
  • Flexible availability to manage shifts and schedules
  • Commitment to upholding quality, service, and cleanliness standards

Job Qualifications

  • Previous general manager experience running high volume locations
  • Background in quick service restaurants preferred
  • Experience in hospitality or retail is an advantage
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to set goals and develop teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be at least 18 years old to qualify as a manager

Job Duties

  • Run a profitable restaurant and ensure it meets McDonald's standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • Work with leadership to set restaurant goals and create plans to achieve them
  • Lead a team of Department Managers by setting goals, following up on progress, and providing coaching and direction
  • Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team
  • Improve departmental performance to enhance overall restaurant success
  • Manage daily restaurant operations in a high-volume quick service environment
  • Ensure staffing and scheduling meet restaurant needs efficiently
