Job Requirements
- Able to work 10-12 hour shifts
- Able to stand for at least 8 hours
- Able to work in temperature extremes ranging from near 1800 degree Fahrenheit broilers to -10 degrees Fahrenheit freezers
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds constantly and 100 pounds occasionally
- Able to bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and squat frequently
- Able to taste and distinguish flavors, spices, and odors effectively
- Able to work in noisy, odorous, and smoky environments
- Demonstrate exceptional guest service mentality

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Extensive experience leading a high-volume, upscale restaurant
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Strong guest service orientation
- Familiarity with restaurant financials including profit and loss management
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to communicate effectively and lead by example
- Passion for food and hospitality
- Experience or knowledge of wine, sommelier certification preferred
- Servsafe Food and Alcohol certification preferred
- Culinary experience or training a plus
- Formal business education or restaurant management degree is an advantage
Job Duties
- Conduct facility walk through (interior and exterior) to ensure cleanliness, safety, and guest-friendly atmosphere
- Complete administrative office work including answering emails and voicemails, entering sales reports, paying invoices, checking deliveries
- Review previous day’s sales reports for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Communicate proactively with management team and corporate staff about operational and financial issues
- Review bookings to ensure proper staffing levels
- Perform kitchen and bar line checks for quality and inventory needs
- Set and achieve budgeted sales and profit targets
- Lead pre-shift meetings to discuss menu changes and operational updates
- Provide motivational leadership and follow up with staff
- Rotate through various restaurant stations to monitor operations
- Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and handle complaints promptly
- Complete closing duties including payroll and sales reports
- Facilitate weekly manager meetings to discuss staffing and training needs
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure ordering compliance
- Plan and execute local marketing and public relations activities
- Recruit, hire, and provide staff training and development
- Conduct performance reviews and create development plans
- Coordinate with Sales Manager on banquets and special events
- Attend training and seminars to enhance skills
- Build community relationships to promote the brand
- Develop business through catering and private dining sales
