Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Foodservice Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
  • four or more years of foodservice management experience in retail, corporate, or contract dining environments
  • demonstrated experience managing financials, budgets, and cost controls
  • strong knowledge of food, coffee, catering, and retail dining trends with a focus on quality and consistency
  • experience overseeing retail and grab and go operations
  • proven leadership, coaching, and team development skills
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to interact effectively with clients, associates, and senior leadership
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and standard business systems

Job Duties

  • Provide full operational and financial oversight for a corporate dining account including barista bar, grab and go, and catering services
  • lead a team of approximately five hourly associates with the Executive Chef as the only other salaried leader on site
  • own all aspects of foodservice operations including service standards, food quality, safety, sanitation, and guest experience
  • manage P and L performance including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting
  • ensure all service timelines, operational deadlines, and client expectations are consistently met
  • partner closely with the Executive Chef on menu execution, production planning, and catering delivery
  • hire, train, coach, and develop associates while maintaining strong employee engagement and accountability
  • conduct regular team meetings and maintain clear, professional communication across all levels
  • audit operations to ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and food safety standards
  • build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal Compass partners
